Big Changes

So, the first change is that I am staring a real site for all my finds.

Finding information on items has been one of the hardest things about this whole project. So my site www.Found2ndHand.com is going to keep things in order for me. This way not only will I have this as a resource on the go but other people will also be able to use it. This is not as easy as it sounds! Locating the make, pattern names and god knows what else is going to take a lot of time. Some Most pages are going to be images with all the information I could get from the item that will also be on the photo.

Another ridiculously hard part is going to be labeling all the photos that I will be having my friend take while I organize all my items. He is an excelent photographer. We will pretty much be taking over the down stairs of my parents house to get this done. My mom is giving us two weeks to do this so this will look like a crazy production line of bad jokes and obserd commentary.

I am also weeding out my collections and the things that I have not sold. I will be having items listed on my etsy site again for 4-8 months. Once that time is up, depending on the items condition, what hasn't been sold will be donated to my local Habitat for Humanity or dumped. My parents, who I currently live with, are planning to sell the house and I have no intention of lugging this stuff with me to a tiny apartment.

Lastly I am going to be posting pictures and brief descriptions of items I find on the go from my iphone. There will be random longer posts and project updates as well.

I am really not looking forward to identifying all of the Waterford that I found. Oi.

The best laid plans

Are allways doomed to fail I i am in charge. The holidays were insane and with my family visiting everything that I had planed to photograph, discribe and post.... ended up getting packed away in a flurry of last minuet clean ups. I could come up with a dozen or more excuses for why I haven't been keeping up with this. Poor time management being the first and StumbleUpon and Blogger tying for second.

At some point I will not only be fixing my prior posts and making them if not intresting but informative, I will at least start doing that to newer posts.

You know... When I get a free moment and don't have to chase squirls off the bird feeders.
