Finding information on items has been one of the hardest things about this whole project. So my site www.Found2ndHand.com is going to keep things in order for me. This way not only will I have this as a resource on the go but other people will also be able to use it. This is not as easy as it sounds! Locating the make, pattern names and god knows what else is going to take a lot of time.
Another ridiculously hard part is going to be labeling all the photos that I will be having my friend take while I organize all my items. He is an excelent photographer. We will pretty much be taking over the down stairs of my parents house to get this done. My mom is giving us two weeks to do this so this will look like a crazy production line of bad jokes and obserd commentary.
I am also weeding out my collections and the things that I have not sold. I will be having items listed on my etsy site again for 4-8 months. Once that time is up, depending on the items condition, what hasn't been sold will be donated to my local Habitat for Humanity or dumped. My parents, who I currently live with, are planning to sell the house and I have no intention of lugging this stuff with me to a tiny apartment.
Lastly I am going to be posting pictures and brief descriptions of items I find on the go from my iphone. There will be random longer posts and project updates as well.
I am really not looking forward to identifying all of the Waterford that I found. Oi.
